July 27, 2010 Proverbs 5:15-8:11

Be faithful to your wife. Don't drink from another man's well. Save yourself for your wife. Be happy with the woman you married when you were young. She is beautiful and you should be attracted to her and stay deeply in love. God sees everything, sinners are caught by their own evil deeds. Because of their foolishness and lack of self-control they get lost and die.

Don't take on more debt than you can repay. Avoid it as if your life depends on it- it just might! Anthills can teach lazy people how to live life. Rather than lie around all day feeling sorry for yourself, get up and get busy like the ants. They don't have a boss to tell them what to do, but they never stop taking care of the hill. Liars are always up to something cruel to take away someone else's hard earned money, don't fall for it.

The seven deadlies are excessive pride, lying, murder, a heart that schemes evil, feet that run to evil, a false witness, an instigator of dischord among brothers.

Follow the wise teachings of your mother and father. They will guide you through your life. The Law of the Lord is a lamp to light your path. Correction and self-control will protect you from being seduced by another man's wife. Otherwise, you will pay the price. Don't despise a thief who steals something to eat when he is hungry. But if he is caught, he must repay 7 times what he took, even if it costs him everything he has.

Learn these commands and commit them to memory, they will keep you from adultery. I was looking out the window one evening and I watched a foolish young man get picked up by a prostitute. She lured him to her bed with promises of food and pleasure and he followed like he was in a daze or under her spell, knowing it would cost him his life. Don't follow her, son, she has alot of notches on her lipstick case and you'll be on the highway to hell.

Wisdom calls out to everyone and anyone who'll listen. She is there to teach everyone truth. She is more valuable than anything on earth.
