Mem The Love of God’s Law
I love Your law and contemplate it all day long. Your laws never leave my mind and give me wisdom over my enemies. I have better understanding than my teachers because I meditate on Your law all day long. My understanding surpasses that of the elders, I obey Your precepts. I have avoided trouble by obeying Your law. You have taught me and I have not strayed from Your teachings. Your words are sweeter to me than honey! They give me understanding so I hate all lies.
Nun God’s Law a Lamp for the Feet
Your words light the path before my feet. I have sworn a sacred oath to follow Your law. I have suffered, save my life as You said You would. Accept my praise and teach me Your ways. My life is in danger but I never forget Your teachings. Bad people try to trap me, but I will follow You. My heart is full because of Your laws, they are my most prized treasure. My heart is Yours to the very end.

I hate liars, but I love Your law. You are my protection, your word my only hope. Get away from me wicked people! I keep God’s commandments. Let me live, protect my hope so I won’t be disappointed. Keep me safe and secure so I will live out Your word. You refuse all deceivers, they reject Your teaching. To You all evil people are garbage, so I follow Your rules. I tremble when I think of Your judgment.
Ayin The Psalmist Loves God’s Law
I have done just as You taught me, don’t let the bad guys get me. I am Your servant, so take good care of me and protect me from conceited people. My eyes are tired from watching and waiting for You. Show me Your love and teach me Your laws. Help me understand Your teachings to serve You better. They are breaking Your law, Stop them! Because I love Your laws more than pure gold, they are right and I follow them. I hate every false way.
Pe The Psalmist Keeps God’s Law
Your teachings are wonderful and I obey them all. Understanding Your word gives light to the minds ordinary people. I desire to know everything You teach. Have mercy on me like You do for those who love You. Show me where You want me to go and let no sin have influence over me. Release me from control of men so I can obey Your law. Smile on me and teach me Your ways. When Your law is not obeyed I’m so sad that I cry.
Tsadhe God’s Law is True
You are righteous Lord, and Your decisions are fair. Your laws are righteous and trustworthy. I feel exhausted when people ignore Your word. Your word is like a treasure to me Your servant. I am lowly but I obey Your commands. Your righteousness lasts forever and Your law is true. Trouble comes to me but Your law comforts me. Your law is true and right. Help me understand and live them.

I pray with all my heart, answer me Lord! I will obey Your laws. I pray for You to save me and I will follow Your commands. I pray in the dark morning for You to save me. I put my hope in Your word. I lie awake at night and think about Your promises. Show that You love me, answer my prayer and save my life. People who turn from You have made evil plans to hurt me. You are near me and Your commands are true. I learned long ago from studying your word that it will last forever.
Resh Keeping God’s Law in Adversity
See my suffering and save me because I remember Your law. Defend and protect me and save my life. Evil people won’t obey You and they have no hope of being saved. You are merciful Lord, please save my life. My enemies treat me badly but I will never turn away from Your law. The wicked fill me with loathing, they do not obey Your word. See how I love Your law, show Your love for me by keeping me safe. Everything You say can be trusted. Your teachings are true and will last forever.
