94. Continued. When his foot was slipping, God's love supported him. When he was anxious and full of fear, God's consolation brought joy to his soul. Can unjust rulers and governments be aligned with God? Our protection comes from God, He will defeat the wicked who would try to destroy us.
95. Praise to the Lord and Warning Against Unbelief. Sing and shout for joy to the Lord! Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and worship Him with music and song. God made all that is. Let us bow down and worship God who leads us, the people of his flock. Today, if you hear His voice, don't harden your heart as the children of Israel did; they tested God in spite of seeing His great miracles with their own eyes. He was angry with them for 40 years. Their hearts went astray and did not know God. So He swore an oath in His anger that they would never enter His rest.
96. A Call to Worship the Lord. Sing to Lord, all the people of earth! Proclaim His salvation, declare His glory and marvelous deeds to everyone. The Lord is great and worthy of praise. Give all glory due to God. Worship Him and tremble before Him. Let everything in the world celebrate that the Lord will come to judge the people on earth in His truth.
97. The Lord's Power and Dominion. The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad. His throne is built on righteousness and justice. The presence of God is great - fire and lightning are under His control. Those who brag about useless idols they worship are ashamed when they see their idols bow down to God. The Lord rules the whole earth and He is more glorious than all the false gods. Love the Lord and hate evil! God protects His loyal people and rescues them from violence. "If you obey and do right, a light will show you the way and fill you with happiness." You are God's people. Celebrate!
98. The Lord Works Miracles. Sing a new song to praise God! He has worked miracles and has won the victory. The Lord has shown nations that He has the power to save and bring justice. God has been faithful to Israel and His power is seen everywhere on earth.
